The Glass Sea

When marine biologist Hannah Yrsa joins her estranged husband on an isolated research base in the middle of the ocean, she hopes the silence will fix what’s broken between them. The facility—Hydra-2—is a maze of tanks, cables, and whispering water. There she meets her research crew, and a charming cook who seems to know more than he lets on. But soon, Hannah realises that something is very wrong when the deep-sea creatures they study begin to die one by one. Then the people start dying too, each death mirroring the last. As storms cut off contact with the mainland, paranoia drowns reason, and Hannah begins to suspect that the sea itself is watching.
